Being a graduate in Public Administration from NUST, I had sound theoretical knowledge about functioning of government organisations but the Planning Commission provided me with practical experience in real sense. Working in the Governance and Institutional Reforms section has enabled me to understand the technicalities of policy formulation and implementation process profoundly. I have undertaken various internships in non-governmental organizations such as FAFEN, PCHR previously. Having an interest in public policy, I researched on the issue of internal displacement crisis and its impact upon militancy during my final year thesis. This research inspired me to contribute towards bringing change in the country. MoPDRs Young Development Fellowship programme proved to be a right platform for me to transform my missions into reality. This experience will build up my knowledge and leadership capacity, thereby helping me serve in Pakistan Civil Services in the future.
